Though most people would prefer going to NITs from their states or regions, a general trend observed amongst most DASA students last year seems to suggest that NITK Surathkal is the best NIT. Among branches, ECE(electronics & communication engineering) and CSE(computer science & engineering) seem to be the most favoured.
